What contact block options are available with XPE foot switches?

All pedal operated foot switches incorporate a snap action (Quick-break) N/C + N/O contact block with positive opening operation, and conform fully to standard IEC 60947-5-1

Foot switches can incorporate one or two N/C + N/O contact blocks.

Quick-break contacts comply with the positive opening principle and the use of dependent action contacts is no longer compulsory: With quick-break contacts, the change in electrical state is not linked to the actuation speed of the foot switch, and the service life of the contacts is improved.
