        The maximum DC voltage for TeSys F range contactors is 125 Volt per pole. This voltage is applicable for the specification of L/R <= 15ms in DC applications.

        How does the Test Button on the RH99 work?

        When the test push button is activated the switch SW1 is moved on Test position. The measurement of the network is temporarily stopped during 15ms and a sinusoidal signal of 500Hz to simulate a trip is sent to create a current of 100µA inside the resistor R. The signal seen by the toroid sensor is really negligible about the test signal injection.
        During the test signal injection the settings are: Idn = 30mA and tfault = 0.
        At the end of the 15ms delay
        -> if the product trips (TEST OK) the fault LED and the Fault order relay are activated (in case of no trip test only the fault LED is activated). We have to push on the push button Reset to remove the failure create by the test (in case of automatic reset product no action need to remove the failure).
        -> if the product doesn’t trip, no LED, no relay order the TEST is NOK and it means the product doesn’t work.
        After the 15ms of test signal injection the switch SW1 comes back to the measure position and re-starts the monitor of the network with the customer settings (in the front face).
        So if a trip occurs during the test, it will be see directly after the 15ms of test signal injection and it will be impossible to remove the failure state by a push on Reset push button.
         
        The toroids used on the Vigirex range have only one winding inside.   
         
        There is no Calibration procedure for this product. The product is designed to provide the accuracy specified on the catalogue for the product life time.

        When using a Xantrex System Control Panel, this unit is powered from either an XW+ or an SW hybrid inverter.

        When in a situation that either one of these hybrid inverters are not available, to get the SCP to operate, you will need to provide an independant 15V DC 200mA supply to the Xanbus network.

        My customer have a Siemens motor nr: 1PH7 107-xxFxx-x The encoder on this motor is of the type HTL-signal, 15VDC. Do we have any encoder card that support this kind of encoder "HTL signal" for the ATV71?

        Causes and Fixes

        The HTL is a type of Push Pull, then VW3A3405 or 06 or 07 option board depend the alimentation, can work without any problem on the HTL encoder. So be carreful you have to verrify the current consomation of your encoder in accordance to 175ma maximum up to 15V and 100ma up to 24V. Or you can add a external alimentation.

        In the ATV71 catalogue the low level is < 1,5V, not compatible with HTL but this value is false, in reality we guarantee a low level <3V, 100% compatible with HTL technologie <2,8V.

        The vendor specification for RING detection use the frequency range from 15Hz to 68Hz and a DC offset of 35V and above with up to 100V RMS RING. This range covers 99.99% of all real world ring scenarios and there are no approval agencies that we are aware of that are outside of that range. Normal ring offset is usually 37V to 48V DC with a ring voltage less than 100V RMS.

        We have tested 15V RMS and have been able to detect RING, but the test equipment was generating a perfect 20 Hz sine wave for TIP and RING and they are opposite of each other. Not every provided TIP/RING signal will be perfect (or even a sine wave) so that would change the actual RING detect voltage. Firmware version 1.02u was tested at 14 Hz and tested to 20 V and 68 Hz tested to 19 V.
