Shunt trip: operating threshold is 0.7x to 1.1x Vn (nominal voltage)
Shunt close: operating threshold is 0.85x to 1.1x Vn
Catalog numbers are the same for MX and MN (shunt trip and shunt close) devices; function is determined by placement in the breaker.

NOTE:  Shunt trip (MX) and shunt close (XF) circuits must be energized for a minimum of 200 ms. In other words, don't use an impulse signal. Use a signal of at least 200 ms.

Should we remove the long-time rating plug of all Micrologic version (A, E, P, H) in Masterpact NT/NW or Compact NS breakers before performing di-electric (megger) test?

Yes. When performing dielectric test, you must remove Long Time rating plug for all Micrologic types, including Micrologic E.

A sticker is now available on the front face of the Micrologic to warn.

Setting up PID control on the ATV21 and ATV212 drives.


  1. Press the mode button until you see AUF
  2. Arrow down to F------ and press enter
  3. Find F360 and press enter choose your PID feedback assignment and to activate your PID function
  • 1 for VIA
  • 2 for VIB
        4. Set FNOD as your PID set point
  • Set to 3 if you want to use the up and down arrows as your set point.
  • Set to 1 for VIA or 2 for VIB if you want your analog input to be your set point.

Please note: it is not a good idea to set up to set your PID feedback F360 to 1 VIA and your set point  FNOD to 1 VIA. 

Basic setup for a 4-20mA signal input for PID feedback would be:
F201=20%  (4mA)
F203=100%  (20mA)
F204= 60hz
F360= 1 (enable PID and feedback is VIA 4 to 20mA)
FNOD= 3  (up and down arrows are your set point.

Optional settings:
F362=PID proportional gain
F363= PID integral gain
F380 = 1 for Reverse acting (0 = deactivated)
