              No, analog inputs and analog outputs are not isolated from control block electronics. 
               

              ATV660: What is meant by "Output current rating will be lower than the continuous output rating of the the drive when bypass option is selected."

              Issue:
              Getting the message  "Output current rating will be lower than the continuous output rating of the the drive when bypass option is selected." When placing an order for an enclosed ATV660 with bypass option.

              Product Line:

              Cause:
              Information available in current literature is too vague.

              Resolution:
              The drives are designed and built with a maximum current output rating defined by France, but higher than the current specified for a given motor size (there is some extra current capability in the design).
              When an enclosed drive without a bypass is rated for current output, the limiting factor which determines the rating is the drive output specs.   When a bypass is included, the bypass was sized to meet the UL required current capability for the motor of a given size, not to match the drive output current capabilities at that size.  So when the enclosed drive with a bypass is given it's rating, the max output current is lower than if it did not have the bypass, because the limiting component is the bypass.  So if the customer needs to have a drive with a bypass, it has to be sized for the current requirements against the bypass ratings, not against the drive output rating.
