The part name is as follows: PDL600ME
Yes, the part number is PDL610ML24RD.
The Grid plate and cover are the PDL800GV + PDL800PSVWH
The mechs to go inside are the PDL800MA with a PDL651M2 and standard size Switch module PDL882M10NBL
No, this item is no longer available
Its replacment is now a Module PDL600SM
Yes, All of the PDL640MF RCA sockets are RCA connection on front with F-Type connection on the back.
The part code is:
When you purchase a 600SM it comes with a White and Black cover and you can put on either one.
The PDL600RM is rated 16A resistive (6A inductive) and has a NO & NC contact. It is a 600 series module so can be mounted in a grid plate, but doesn't have to be as there is no built in indication as to the state of the contacts.
Yes, we do have metal cover plates for the PDL600 series switches. The part number for a single gang cover is 681M.
No not like 600 series
It does have Neon which can be wired to be illuminated when the power is on or available
Plus all 600 series module can be installed into 800 series using a PDL800MA
Use a PDL695X and put a PDL600SM in the extra mech space
PDL has a small surge mdoule which can be installed into any 600 series switch hole.
600 series Surge Module Surge Protection
The 600SM protects all other devices on the circuit but it can only handle a limited number of surges.
For more information see attched installation sheet.
No unfortunately we only make the 20A mechanisms now.
White and black only.
No, that is completely discontinued.
No the PDL619MM is only suitable for use with communications mechs (TV, Data, USB) as the mech will be recessed so it is not suitable for switches, dimmers, fan speed controllers.
No the ZB5 range is what should be used
The mounting Block to suit is the PDL567S
You could use PDL661VHWH with PDL600BWH
No, unfortunately there isn't an adapter so you can fit 30 series mechanisms into a PDL 600 series plate.
You will need a PDL 800MA adaptor + PDL 617M2 telephone mech or a data mech PDL619MD
PDL800GPSWH grid and plate
PDL800mac x2 + vdib17756uwe x2
blank 880bm blank
The Part code is PDL692USBWH
Yes, the 223H can fit the PDL 600 series plates.
The part code is
PDL800GV x 1
PDL800PSVWH x 1
PDL860M16WH x 4
PDL800N240 x 4
No, the through connect modules only come as "TV" (615MFTV), "SKY" (615MFSKY) or blank (615MF).
The 628MF does come printed with "IN" (628MFIN) but that is Coaxial on front with F-type at the back.
The 620K is leading edge.
PDL800MAC Is the 30 series adapter mech.
- PDL800MACWH for white
- PDL800MACBK for black
You can use the:
Rocker Version - PDL860M16PB or PDL881M16SPB are blank, PDL881M16SP or PDL860M16P have a press icon, PDL881M16SB or 860M16B have a bell icon.
Pushbutton Version - PDL880MT1SPB or PDL880MT2SPB
Also 600 series mecs can be fitted in 800 series plates with the use of PDL800MA, and Clipsal mecs can be fitted using the PDL800MAC.
No it isn't. No testing has been carried out.
PDL880BM blank mech mech
The Clipsal 7006A
(available in white only) is the suggested alternative.

We do not have a direct replacement for that dimmer option.
Saturn module = 4061E2PUDM-TR
Clipsal 30 series module = 31E2PUDM-WE
PDL600 module = PDL654PBMWH
PDL800 module = PDL854PBMWH
Note:- Being universal dimmers they may not be suitable for LED's as most LED drivers require a trailing edge dimmer.
A push button dimmer can not be used in a 2 way circuit as it requires a physical press to turn on.
If two way push button dimming is required this can be done via Saturn Onetouch, Iconic push button dimming and Nero Environexus
It depends on the type of TV connection you require.
For PAL connection you will need to get PDL800MA(adaptor) and PDL628M mech
For Pay TV(F-Type) connection you can use the PDL815MF2
For HDMI connection you can use the PDL815HDMI
As a general rule of thumb -
PDL items require PDL at the front of the code.
600 series item codes start with 6.
600 series switch codes start with 68.
The number of switches fitted in the plate is the 3rd number in the code, 681 = single 600 series switch, 682 = double 600 series switch
600 series socket codes start with 69.
The 3rd digit in a socket code indicates the type of socket, 691 = single vertical socket, 692 = double vertical socket, 694 = single horizontal socket, 695 = double horizontal socket.
Most codes require a colour code at the end, WH = white, BK = black.
eg. To order a black double vertical switched socket the complete code would be PDL692BK.
800 series (Modena) item codes start with 8 and follow the same format as above. (800 series items with Strato plates start with S8...)
eg. An 800 series Modena double switch in white = PDL882WH, a Strato double horizontal switched socket in black = PDLS895BK
In both series metal cover plates are an extra option to be supplied separately, coded to fit the plate required, eg. 600 series single switch metal plate in Stainless Steel = PDL681MSS (M = Metal, BBZ = Brushed Bronze, PB = Polished Brass) Some plastic cover plates are available eg. PDL681CWH (C = Cover), PDL800PSCH (PS = Plastic Surround, CH = Champagne, there are 9 colour options in 800 series)
Strato brushed aluminium plates also need BK or WH to decide the trim colour, eg. PDLS800CBABK or PDLS800CBAWH (C = Cover , BA = Brushed Aluminium)
Module grids with covers are available in BK or WH, eg. PDL684VHWH (VH = vertical/horizontal since the grid is empty and module can be fitted either way), PDLS800GPSBK (GPS = Grid, Plate, & Surround).
Grids without covers included are only available in Modena 800 series, PDL800G (horizontal) or PDL800GV (vertical)
Refer pdl.co.nz for further details and options.
Yes, it comes as a part of a spare knob pack - PDL 620PBK for black (also available in PDL 620PWH for white).
Yes, this device is rated for up to 300W of dimmable Schneider LED Lighting.
(Please visit clipsal.com/load for recommended loads. For other loads, contact the LED supplier for compatibility advice.)
As the 620K is a leading edge dimmer it is not suitable for electronic transformers.
The transformer should be changed for a wire wound or the dimmer should be replaced with trailing edge, though as we only do 450w rated dimmers the load would have to be split between two dimmers.
The PDL620K is no longer available.
