Water and dust resistant

The Iconic Outdoor range features an innovative design to ensure your outdoor switches and sockets are kept safe and secure. Integrated shutters seal the socket apertures, preventing water ingress and ensuring an IP54 protection rating. The switches are rated IP56. Integrated seals fix onto conduits or cables at entry points, removing the need for additional sealants, and pre-drilled mounting holes are positioned outside of the waterproof area to prevent leaks.

Faster installation

Making it faster and easier for electrical contractors to install, the Iconic Outdoor range features large, in-line terminals on the grid. The grid also features large clips, allowing it to be attached to the frame in seconds. A full, over-moulded rubber frame prevents slipping on the wall where it is to be installed, while also absorbing inconsistencies in the wall surface.

Aesthetically pleasing

Achieving a balance between simplicity of installation and appealing good looks, the Iconic Outdoor range utilises a bi-face system, with an aesthetically pleasing, robust cover for the consumer, which protects and hides the highly technical core which has been uniquely designed for the electrician. A hidden “press-to-release” lock allows the cover to be easily removed and replaced, so consumers can easily update the look of their Iconic Outdoor switch or outlet.

Redefining weather-proof products, Iconic Outdoor is the innovative new range which achieves a balance between simplicity of installation, clever technologyand consumer friendly aesthetics. Designed for the residential market, but with electrical contractors in mind, the range is suitable for Zone 2 applications. Iconic Outdoor sockets have an IP54 protection rating, while the Iconic Outdoor switches have an IP56 protection rating.

• Reliable and robust – sockets feature a spring-loaded sealing shutter with engineered water channel, the innovative design provides IP54 protection.
• Easy to use - mounting holes are pre-drilled outside the waterproof areato prevent ingress, meaning there is no need for drilling or caps-ensuring the integrity of the IP rating.Once attached to the wall, all remaining assembly is easy and screwless.Clip on cover hides all mounting screws for a clean finish. Ease of use for customer with visible front facing plug entry apertures.
• Ingenious - new cable entry seals and optional conduit entries are integrated into the frame, reducing the need for glue. Seals can be easily opened with pull tabs.
• Smart - Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology allows users to configure socket timer settings with their smart phone or tablet. Perfect for outdoor pool pumps, fountains, and appliances that you want to control using your smart device. It can also be converted to Zigbee format to work with the Wiser Hub, both options use the Wiser by SE app.
• Stylish - aesthetically appealing with fresh, clean lines and bevelled edgeswhich deflect impacts andprevent the build-up of dirt. Versatile-available in white and black, the switches and sockets will suit anyenvironment.
