Yes you can use the 755RFB across circuits and phases.

What is the 755RFB2 ?

The 755RFB2 is an optional accessory for the 755PSMA2/4 or 755RLPSMA2/4 smoke alarms offering wireless interconnection capabilities. The wireless base can be used for both wireless and wired connectivity allowing mixed interconnection flexibility. The 755RFB2 also has a dry contact input providing the option for remote test/hush from a momentary pushbutton/bell press switch.

What is the RF range for 755RFB base?

RF Range (line of sight) will be: 100m free air, 30m indoors

Will 755RFB relay base work with 755PSMA?

Unfortunately not, 755RFB is not suitable for use with 755PSMA. It is suitable for use with 755PSMA2 and 755PSMA4.

Can the Clipsal 755PFM have a remote switch fitted for test/Hush function?

Yes, but the optional mounting base 755RB (Mounting Base with Integrated 2A Relay and Remote Test/Hush Function ) or 755RFB (Mounting Base with Wireless Interconnect and Remote Test/Hush Function) must be added. The feature can be wired through any momentary switch. Once activated, normal operation resumes after about 10 minutes.
 

Can the 755RFB be used for both wired and wireless interconnection?

Yes, the Wireless base is capable of interconnecting 20 smoke alarms wirelessly using 755RFB bases and 40 smoke alarms using wired interconnect cables simultaneously. The 755RFB can be used as a wireless bridge between smoke alarms on different circuits or phases (that normally CAN NOT be connected together via conventional wired interconnect).
