How to Unlock ATS48 parameters?

Issue:
Unlocking parameters on the ATS48.

Product Line:
 ATS48

Environment:
Unlock parameters

Cause:
N/A

Resolution:
There are two reason why the starter configuration parameters have been blocked.

1) Customer has enabled a password lock on COD (Terminal locking code). Caution: Before entering a code, do not forget to make a careful note of it.

The following Information can be found on page 154 of the user manual:

• OFF: no access locking codes
- To lock access, enter a code (2 to 999). The display can be incremented using the UP key. Now press ENT. "On" appears on the screen to indicate that the parameters have been locked.
• On: a code is locking access (2 to 999)
- To unlock access, enter the code (incrementing the display using the UP key) and press ENT. The code remains on the display and access is unlocked until the next power down. Parameter access will be locked again on the next power-up.
- If an incorrect code is entered, the display changes to "On" and the parameters remain locked.
• XXX: parameter access is unlocked (the code remains on the screen).
- To reactivate locking with the same code when the parameters have been unlocked, return to "On" using the DOWN button then press ENT. "On" appears on the screen to indicate that the parameters have been locked.
- To lock access with a new code when the parameters have been unlocked, enter a new code (increment the display using the UP or DOWN keys) and press ENT. "On" appears on the screen to indicate that the parameters have been locked.
- To clear locking when the parameters have been unlocked, return to "OFF" using the DOWN button and press ENT. "OFF" remains on the screen. The parameters are unlocked and will remain unlocked until the next restart.

If you can't remember the access code please contact Schneider Electric.

2) The other reason why the ATS48 could be locked is:

- External display VW3G4801 was connected to ATS48 and ATS48 menu has been locked using mechanical switch on the back side of VW3G4801.
- Then external display was removed and ATS48 remained locked.

solve the problem :
- Connect VW3G4801 to ATS48
- Unlock mechanical switch on VW3G4801
- Remove VW3G4801 from ATS48

What Is The Part Number For The Socket For RPM Relays?

Which trip unit and BCM date code are configured for a 2 wire modbus system?

Issue:
BCM for a 2-wire modbus system

Product Line:
Molded Case Circuit breakers

Resolution:
Micrologic P and H firmware needs to be 2010-AK or later in order to set the BCM ULP to 2w+ULP mode.
Also, the BCM ULP needs to have the gray connection point (the connector itself will still be green), which will have a firmware higher than 3.x.x.

On a BCM configured for 4w Modbus, if jumpers are placed between E3 and E5, and between E4 and E6, and the mode is set to 4w on the trip unit, it will work as 2w without ULP.

Breakers shipped November 2015 and after have BCMs configured for 2w + ULP.  Date code approximately 15441 and later.

These products are treated for increased protection for dusty and corrosive environments. With this coating, exposed copper is tinned, circuit boards are conformal coated in critical areas and plastics are treated to better withstand the corrosive nature of certain oils.

The ATV61 and ATV71 drives are designed for maximum ambient pollution as follows:
ATV71:
H...M3, 71HD11M3X, HD15M3X, H075N4 to HD18N4 are Degree 2 conforming to IEC/EN 61800-5-1
