How to Activate OFS v3.62 LARGE License using Citect SCADA 2018 R2 Full Server License

SUMMARY
OPC Factory Server (OFS) v3.62 (bundled with Citect SCADA 2018 R2) does not retrieve a LARGE license from a licensed Citect SCADA 2018 R2 unless it is run with administrator privileges

SITUATION
Software Versions:
OPC Factory Server (OFS) v3.62
Citect SCADA 2018 R2
 
ACTION
For OFS v3.62 to obtain a LARGE license from Citect SCADA 2018 R2, ensure the Customer Information form is filled as shown below during the OFS installation. For additional information about this step refer to TN8346

Upon a successful installation of OPC Factory Server (OFS)
  1. Via the Windows Start Menu, navigate to Schneider Electric -> OPC Factory Server
  2. Right-click on OPC Factory Server and navigate to More -> and select Run as Administrator

In OPC Factory Server (OFS)
  1. Navigate to File and uncheck Status Window to display the Diagnostic Window
  2. If the message highlighted in the image below is shown, OFS has successful activated a LARGE license from the licensed Citect SCADA 2018 R2

  4. Navigate to Help -> About OFS -> License, the window should resemble the image below
